Falco tinnunculus
It was my first visit to Pool Bridge Farm, not far from York. It is a working farm and fishing lake centre. The setup was a simple hide with various perches, but, most importantly, a resident pair of kestrels were there, who were reasonably frequent visitors. The light wasn’t great, so I will definitely go back in better conditions and hopefully catch some more flight shots 👍
