Camargue
I have to admit that Camargue horses were not on my photography agenda! Not really my thing! I had to cancel a couple of planned trips and had not picked up my camera for a while, so the Camargue trip was available, and as a European location it was not difficult to get to. To be honest I went with fairly low expectations, but at least I could practise my camera skills. As it turned out, I enjoyed the experience – approximately 25 horses charging through the shallow salt marshes, led by the “guardians” and well worth the effort. On every trip I come back with more knowledge: there is always something I learn, an additional skill, a technique; it’s part of the photographic journey.
