BROWN HARE

I have recently spent a very pleasant and interesting few days with David Tipling, photographing Brown Hares in Norfolk. Also known as Eurasian Hares, Brown hares are very skittish, so with David’s local knowledge (and his Land Rover – which made an excellent mobile hide), we were able to get reasonably close. Plus, I had the added bonus of spending time in David’s woodland hide – so it was well worth the trip. Unfortunately, no boxing Hares this time, but that’s the challenge, so I shall be back next year for boxing Hares on a sunlit misty morning with a hard frost, or – better still – snow…not too much to ask, surely?
